International lecturer and researcher, he is author of more than 500 scientific articles, books and chapters in other books. He has lectured all over the world (more than 500 presentations) and has been invited as a main speaker in the most important international (AAE, IFEA, APEC, ESE) and national endodontic congresses in Europe, North and South America, Asia, China, Middle East, Australia and South and North Africa. He has also lectured in many Universities worldwide and won several prizes for his scientific activities.
He has focused his interests on endodontic materials and clinical endodontics. He is actively cooperating with many manufacturers all over the world to develop new technologies, operative procedures and materials for root canal treatment.
Official Italian former member of ANSI/ ADA and ISO Committees for Endodontic Materials. Active member of IADR, Italian Society of Endodontists (SIE), Italian Academy of Endodontics (AIE) and European Society of Endodontology (ESE). He has been chief editor of the Italian Journal of Endodontics (G.It. Endo), official Journal of Italian Society of Endodontists and currently is Chief Editor of Annali di Stomatologia, official Journal of Italian Academy of Endodontics (AIE). He is currently President Elect of European Society of Endodontology (ESE).
He works as Chair of the Clinical Program Endodontics at the Government Hospital (Policlinico Umberto I, Roma) and also maintains a private practice limited to Endodontics in Rome, Italy.
