RESUME
#35 – Two Orifices and One Apical Foramen
Treatment Summary:
- Diagnosis: Referred after initial access; a single canal was suspected. A CBCT scan revealed anomalous anatomy.
- Instrumentation: EdgeTaper up to F2 at 18 mm
- Irrigation: 2.5% sodium hypochlorite, with liquid EDTA as the final irrigant
- Obturation: Performed with EdgeCore 25 and resin-based sealer
This clinical case clearly demonstrates how the correct selection of instruments and a technology-driven diagnostic approach can make a significant difference in managing complex cases.
